Advances in data generation and acquisition have resulted a volume of available such magnitude that our ability to interpret extract valuable knowledge from them has been surpassed. Our capacity analyze is hampered not only by their amount or dimensionality, but also relationships the complexity systems they model. Compound graphs allow us represent existing between nodes are themselves hierarchically structured, so natural substrate support multiscale analysis complex graphs. This paper presents Carbonic, framework for interactive visual exploration editing compound incorporates several strategies management. It combines representation at multiple levels abstraction, with techniques reducing number visible elements cluttering. results tool allows both creation following top-down approach simultaneously observing entities different scales.
